BS 7671:2008 IEE: Wiring Regulations 17th Edition
This course is aimed at practising electricians and electrical contractors who require a good working knowledge of BS 7671:2008 (IEE Wiring Regulations, 17th Edition). The objectives of the course are:
- to ensure that delegates are conversant with the format, content and the application of BS7671:2008
- To ensure that delegates are aware of the purposes, structure and content of the Institutio's On-site guide and are able to use this in support of BS 7671
- To prepare delegates to sit City & Guilds 2382-10 multiple choice examination leading to the award, (on passing the examination) Level 3 Certificate in the Requirements for Electrical Installations BS 7671:2008
All parts of BS 7671 are examined during the course. To reinforce knowledge and understanding, exercises and worked examples and covering maximum demand, cable sizing of protective conductors and wiring enclosures.
A series of short test papers featuring typical City & Guilds muplitple-choice questions are set during the course.
City & Guilds have approved the Institutions's presentation of the course.
