Cammach Employee Scoops National Award
An employee of leading Aberdeen-based oil & gas engineering services company Cammach Group has scooped a major national award.
Third year apprentice Robert Hughes was recently named as the winner of a silver award in the UK-wide Refrigeration & Air Conditioning National (RAC) Student of the Year competition in Birmingham.
Robert is a student of Tullos Training and the accolade rounds off a successful year for Zimbabwe-born Robert.
Commenting on Robert's win, Cammach Group managing director Bill Barclay said: "We are very proud of Robert's continuing achievements and we are sure that he has a long and successful career ahead of him. Refrigeration & Air conditioning is a major area of growth at Cammach Group so it is crucial to have people of Robert's high calibre in our team to ensure the best possible service to our clients".
Tullos Training chief executive Ian Garrett added: "Robert's achievements confirm his excellent knowledge and understanding of RAC systems and the sectors need to maintain high standards at a time of change and new legislation. In this regard Robert is right up to date with the latest British & European requirements having recently obtained his City & Guilds Level 2 award in F-Gas and ODS Regulations at our RAC Training & Assessment Centre."
