2025 Annual Awards Ceremony Honours Rising Stars
On 25th June at The Aberdeen Altens Hotel, we proudly celebrated the outstanding achievements of our trainees at our 2025 Annual Awards Ceremony. The event was attended by over 150 learners, employers and guests in a powerful celebration of vocational excellence and workforce development.
Speaking at the event, Stuart McKenna, CEO of Scottish Training Federation Limited, said “Modern Apprenticeships are quite simply a great thing to achieve, they give people the opportunity to build their confidence, gain industry experience and develop essential skills that employers require.”

The evening’s top award, Apprentice of the Year 2025, was presented to Jack Edwards of Rubicer Scotland Ltd, in recognition of his exceptional commitment, technical skills and development throughout his apprenticeship so far. Additional award categories including the Young Engineer Award, GTM Award and Most Improved 1st Year Apprentice were presented to apprentices across various industries. In a special moment of recognition, the Outstanding Contribution Award was presented to Alistair Grant, honouring his long-standing dedication to both Tullos Training and the wider training industry. Alistair’s career has been marked by an unwavering commitment to supporting apprentices and fostering strong links between education and industry.
