2026 Careers Fair Welcomes Hundreds During Scottish Apprenticeship Week

Staff at Tullos Training Ltd welcomed over 350 visitors to their training centre on Craigshaw Drive, Aberdeen, for their 2026 Careers Fair, held on Wednesday 4th March as part of Scottish Apprenticeship Week 2026.

Building on the success of previous years, the event once again opened the doors of the organisation’s facilities to prospective apprentices, parents/carers, teachers and members of the public interested in learning more about apprenticeship pathways and career opportunities across a range of industries.

Strong Turnout from Local Schools

A key highlight of this year’s event was the strong attendance from pupils representing many secondary schools across both Aberdeen City and Aberdeenshire.  Their participation underlined the growing interest among young people in exploring practical, work-based learning routes.

Throughout the afternoon, visitors were able to tour the training centre, speak with current apprentices and meet directly with employers who are actively recruiting apprentices for 2026.  The event provided a valuable opportunity for pupils to gain a clearer understanding of the skills required for careers across various sectors.

Showcasing the Value of Apprenticeships

Hosting the event during Scottish Apprenticeship Week helped emphasise the vital role apprenticeships play in developing Scotland’s future workforce.  The national campaign highlights how work-based learning enables individuals to gai industry-recognised qualifications while building real workplace experience.

A Collaborative Effort with Industry Partners

The success of the event was made possible through the support of a wide range of industry partners and organisations who exhibited on the day.  Their presence ensured visitors could explore a diverse range of career options and learn about the skills and qualities employers are seeking in future apprentices.

Tullos Training would like to extend its sincere thanks to the exhibitors who supported the 2026 Careers Fair:

Inspiring the Next Generation

Events such as the Careers Fair play an important role in connecting education with industry and helping young people understand the opportunities available through apprenticeships.

With around 350 attendees, strong support from local schools and valuable engagement from employers, the 2026 Careers Fair proved to be another successful milestone for Tullos Training’s ongoing work to promote vocational learning and develop the skilled workforce of the future.

As interest in apprenticeships continues to grow, Tullos Training looks forward to building on this success and welcoming even more future apprentices and employers to its events in the years ahead.
